It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of TNS Academy.

TNS Academy grew out of our passion for sport and our belief in its power to develop skills, confidence and potential. Our ambition was to create a sports development hub that brought together different sports and made opportunities to learn, move and grow accessible to more children and communities.

What began with basketball expanded into a broader initiative encompassing sports such as flag football and kickball, alongside school programmes, clinics and other sporting activities. We wanted to create opportunities for people to discover new sports, develop their abilities and experience the positive impact sport can have.

Along the way, we received positive feedback and saw genuine interest in what we were building. We are proud of the concept, the work we have put into it and the opportunities we have created through our collaborations and activities.

However, building a business and giving a vision the time it needs to develop requires sufficient resources. Despite our commitment and passion, we have had to accept that we do not have the resources needed to continue developing TNS Academy as a business. After careful consideration, we have therefore made the difficult decision to close the academy.

This was not an easy decision. We believed in what we were building and remain convinced of the value of making sport accessible and using it to help people develop. Sometimes, even when you believe in your vision and see the value it brings, circumstances mean that you have to take a different path than the one you had envisioned.

We want to thank everyone who has been part of the TNS Academy journey: the schools and partners who worked with us, the coaches and collaborators who shared our vision, and everyone who supported, encouraged or participated in our activities.

Thank you for your trust, your time and your enthusiasm. We are grateful for what we have been able to build and for everyone who helped make it possible.

TNS Academy may be closing, but our belief in the power of sport to develop potential remains.
